REQUIREMENTS
Royce Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Network (RGJJN™)
General Requirements for establishing a network.


Martial Arts School/Organization applying for membership with the Royce Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Network must have the following:
  1. Have been in business for a minimum of 2 years. (business tax returns and or building lease agreement may be required as verification)
  2. Have a minimum of 40 full-time paying students in your school/organization, with 20 of the students ready to enroll into the RGJJN program.
  3. Have business liability insurance and either an exercising association with a Martial Arts Billing Company and/or be willing to sign up with EFC (Educational Funding Company) or a billing company of your choice.
  4. Business principal and /or an instructor must have attained a minimum rank of Blue Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu from either Royce Gracie, an approved Royce Gracie instructor and/or a reputable/verifiable Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt.*
    *(please refer to the Getting Started section for information on how to attain a rank in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu from Royce Gracie)
GETTING STARTED
Once again, thank you for your interest in becoming a member of the Royce Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Network family. Here you will find the steps necessary to become a RGJJN accredited school. We would like to remind you to read the "General Requirements for establishing a Network" section in order to ensure that your Martial Arts Organization /School is eligible for membership.

FOR PRINCIPALS / INSTRUCTORS THAT ARE ALREADY RANKED IN BRAZILIAN JIU-JITSU.
For principals /instructors that are ranked in the art of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu please fill out the “Getting Started with RGJJN application” and mail it along with a Network start-up fee of $350.00

Upon receipt of the application and the  application fee we will process your application. If your school receives an approval you will receive:
  1. School RGJJlarge window decal
  2. An official certificate showing your membership into the RGJJN, as well as a belt certificate for the main instructor.
UNLESS RANKED BY ROYCE GRACIE AN APPLICANT MUST ATTEND A ROYCE GRACIE SEMINAR AND OR A NETWORK VISIT IN ORDER TO HAVE HIS/HER RANK CONFIRMED.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW TO GET STARTED WITH RGJJN - BLUE BELT REQUIREMENTS AND SELF DEFENSE REQUIREMENTS ( NOTE: IF YOU ARE ALREADY A BLUE BELT OR ABOVE IN BRAZILIAN JIU-JITSU, YOU STILL HAVE TO ADDRESS THE SELF DEFENSE TECHNIQUES OUTLINED IN THIS CURRICULUM)
  • Required Curriculum To Become A Royce Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Network Chapter

NOTE: IF YOU HAVE NOT BEEN RANKED BY ROYCE GRACIE, YOU MUST PROVIDE NAME AND CONTACT INFO FOR THE INSTRUCTOR THAT RANKED YOU. ROYCE GRACIE AND/OR RGJJN RESERVE THE RIGHT TO CONTACT SUCH INSTRUCTOR TO VERIFY YOUR RANK, ROYCE GRACIE AND /OR RGJJN ALSO RESERVE THE RIGHT NOT TO ACCEPT YOUR RANK IN BRAZILIAN JIU-JITSU IN WHICH CASE YOU WILL HAVE TO ATTAIN SUCH RANK FROM ROYCE GRACIE IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED FOR MEMBERSHIP IN THE RGJJN.

MONTHLY AND OTHER CHANGES FOR THE RGJJN
  • Monthly Network Due - $200.00 each month due on the 1st of the month per location. The network representative must fill out a Credit Card authorization form, we do not accept checks for monthly dues.  The monthly dues are billed automatically on the 1st of each month.
